The workshop aims at making students comfortable at using pointed pens and enable them to write all the letter forms while also finding their own style. Copperplate is not just a pretty script but a timeless classic whose beauty and elegance makes it the most commercial script of today’s time when handwritten, customized gifts and goods are on a rise. This is a beginner friendly workshop where no prior pointed pen experience is required. The workshop is also suggested to brush up your already existing knowledge about the script.

In this workshop you will learn:

• history of the script
• discuss the tools, writing position, posture 
• fundamentals of the minuscules
• fundamentals of the majuscules
• principles of shape, weight, slant, size, scale 
• spacing and connections
• word and paragraph writing
• implementing them to create your exemplar

Study sessions (8:00 PM  to 10:00 PM IST)

Recordings of the sessions will be available for 30 days after the last study session.
